Puppy Play Care

Let’s face it, life gets busy! So let us take away the worry of your puppy being home alone all day while you are working, running errands or focusing on other aspects of your life. Our Puppy PlayCare program is designed to give your puppy a good start toward growing into a happy, healthy and well adjusted dog.

At Hickory Pet Inn, your puppy will have the opportunity to socialize, play, nap and receive basic training. They will have a secure, fenced yard for outside play and a climate controlled area for indoor activities and nap time. The staff at Hickory is caring, compassionate and well trained. As an added benefit we have veterinary care on the premises – our general practice, specialty and emergency hospital is always staffed and open 24 hours a day.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY PLAY CARE

• Puppies must be between the ages of 6 weeks and 4 months. For puppies over 4 months they can attend our Doggie Day Care
• Your puppy must be current with his or her appropriate vaccination schedule. Proof of vaccination from your veterinarian will be needed at registration.
• Rabies, DHPP (Distemper, Parvovirus) Canine Influenza and Bordatella (kennel cough)
• Hickory Pet Inn can give Bordetella & Influenza vaccines if needed, provided all other vaccines are current.
• Puppy cannot participate in PlayCare if he or she has a contagious disease (i.e. Kennel Cough/Bordatella)
• Your puppy must be on a flea and tick prevention program

Drop off at 7am and pick up by 6pm Monday through Friday. Special arrangements can be made with the Hickory Veterinary Hospital for later pick-up if necessary; please call for details.
