Hickory Pet Inn

Boarding

Information

For the protection of your pet and other pets in our care, it is necessary that all animals coming to stay at the "Pet Inn" are current on all vaccinations. Please bring a Vaccination Certificate from your veterinarian or have it faxed over to us before your arrival. Our fax telephone number is (610-)-828-8465. For the protection of your pet, NO animal can be boarded without proper verification of vaccinations.

DOGS: Must have current Rabies, Distemper, and Kennel Cough inoculations within one year.

CATS: Must be current on Rabies and FVRCP vaccinations within the last year.

See our Pet health topic "PREPARATION FOR BOARDING YOUR PET" for more information on preparing your pet for boarding in a kennel.

You may consider adding a little extra time when you check your pet into the "Pet Inn", so that all vaccines can be verified.

All animals will be checked for fleas upon admission and sprayed if necessary. All pets will be fitted with an identification collar. Your pet’s leash and collar will be returned to you. We issue a clean security blanket for your pet’s comfort, while a guest at the "Pet Inn".

SPECIAL DIETS  Premium diets are provided as well as a broad choice of prescription diets. Each pet’s diet is customized and tailored to his or her individualized needs. If you prefer, you can bring your pet’s own food from home. Please be sure it is in a sturdy container and is clearly marked with your pet’s name and feeding instructions.

BEDDING AND TOYS  We will provide your pet with a clean security blanket. We will accept your pet’s own bedding and also certain types of toys and bones. All items should be clearly marked with your pet’s name. We will do everything possible to care for personal belongings, but we cannot guarantee their safe return.

DISCHARGE PROCEDURES  We request that you provide us with a pick-up date and time. If possible, please notify us of any changes or delays in your schedule. If your pet was scheduled to have a bath, he or she will be ready when you arrive. Pets having a bath before going home will be ready by 3 P.M. Pick-up times are before 5:30 P.M. weekdays and before 4:00 P.M. on Saturdays and Sundays.
